Connect your Squarespace store to Subbu to keep your products, orders, and inventory in sync. This guide walks you through the setup process step by step.


Step 1 – Add Squarespace as a Channel in Subbu

  1. In Subbu, click Channels.

  2. Click Add New Channel.

  3. From the Channel Type dropdown, select Squarespace.



Step 2 – Name the Store & Create Channel

  1. Enter a name for your Squarespace store.

  2. Click Create.



Step 3 – Activate & Install Channel

  1. Tick Channel Active.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Click Install to Channel.



Step 4 – Generate API Credentials in Squarespace

  1. In your Squarespace admin, go to Settings → Advanced → Developer API Keys.

  2. Click Generate Key.

  3. Name the key (e.g., “Subbu”).

  4. Enable the following permissions:

    • Products: Read & Write

    • Inventory: Read & Write

    • Orders: Read & Write

  5. Click Generate Key.

  6. Copy the generated API key.



Step 5 – Paste API Key & Configure Sync in Subbu

  1. Return to Subbu and paste the API key into the Squarespace channel configuration.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Set your preferred order and product sync intervals, then click Save again.

1. In Subbu Click on Channels




2. Click on  ADD NEW CHANNEL




3. Click on Squarespace from Channel Type / Platform




4. Enter the name of your Squarespace Store and hit Create




5. Tick Channel Active and then Save




6. Click on INSTALL TO CHANNEL




7. In Squarespace Click on Settings




8. Click on Advanced




9. Click on Developer API Keys




10. Click on GENERATE KEY




11. Type "Subbu" in the Key Name




12. Check Products Read and Write




13. Check Inventory Read and Write




14. Check Orders Read and Write




15. Click on GENERATE KEY




16. COPY KEY




17. Back in Subbu, Paste API key and Save




18. Return to your Squarespace store configuration page in Subbu and set the order and product sync intervals and Save.
